About

Hi, I’m Daryl Dean. I work in Enterprise Support at Adobe Systems in Sydney, Australia.

My history with Adobe stretches back a long way. I started working for JetForm Corporation in 1997. In 2000, I left for one of those “Golden Opportunities” that you just can’t pass up. That didn’t pan out, and in the summer of 2002 I was offered a job with an Adobe Partner in Sydney. So we moved.

Last year I left that for this great opportunity at Adobe. So I’ve come full-circle, as it were. Back working for the company that bought the company I used to work for. Interesting, no?

All up, I have more than 10 years of experience with the JetForm Central and JetForm Design - also known as Accelio and Adobe along the line - and now I work with LiveCycle and Flex.

I hope this site can become a decent technical resource on those topics, and if you have a topic you’d like covered (other than “How do I implement Central in a distributed enterprise environment?”), then feel free to Ask JetForm Daddy and I might get around to it.

To get some important business cleared up, the name JetForm Daddy is a complete ripoff of “Flex Daddy“, Andrew Spaulding’s Flex-related site. We currently sit in adjoining cubes in the Adobe office here in Sydney.
